Are you overweight? Do you feel like you've tried everything and you still end up the same? There might be a secret culprit inside your own home that is conspiring to keep you fat, and it's not your significant other. Clutter hoarding may be keeping you fat.
How is clutter hoarding and fat related?
It's hard to tell what came first, the clutter or the fat. But, the truth remains that there seems to be a significant correlation between hoarding and fat. People who allow clutter to overcome their lives, often allow fat to accumulate on their bodies. But, why? Clutter and fat are both symptoms of underlying unresolved emotional issues. Think about it and feel if this makes any sense to you. There is a reason that your house has been getting more cluttered and a reason you've put on the weight. When did it begin? What was happening in your life when the fat and clutter started to creep into your life? Did you lose something or someone? What changed in your life? Finding answers to these questions can help understand what the clutter and fat are covering up.
Well, the short answer is no. While, it will certainly be helpful for you to understand what has gotten you to this point, you don't need to spend the 20 years in therapy to lose some weight and find a pair of matching socks in a reasonable amount of time.
Clutter hoarding, fat and your emotional issues are all interrelated.
That's the bad news. The good news is, since each of these is a different face of the same problem, it doesn't really matter which one you start with; resolving one will affect the other. If you can lose a significant amount of weight, you'll feel happier and lose the clutter. But the really exciting part of this equation is the flipside...
if you lose the clutter, you'll lose the weight.
Let that sink in for a moment, because it may just help you change your life. The clutter in your life is costing you. It's costing you energy, its costing you happiness, and its costing you your figure.
